Of how every question is all about employees asking for more things that they want. So it's like, when are we gonna get this bonus? When are we gonna get this gym? When are we gonna get this? That's so much of the orientation of being an employee at Google. It's all about what Google can do for me and how I can get more. And that becomes what you ask for. It's like you give a kid something, you give them candy, they're always asked for candy. And I think that there is certainly an element of that culture kind of being frothed up over the years at Google. But I do think that this is an issue that people care very passionately about right now, and you're seeing it all over the place. So certainly not same week, we had, the Golden Gate Bridge get shut down. The Bay Bridge get shut down as well. Chamath, your thoughts on these protests and then, obviously, the entitlement issues that Friberg alludes to specifically at alphabet slash Google? They're 2 separate things, and I think it's important to deal with them individually. Groups of people in society in a democracy should have a right to protest. That's absolutely fundamental, and I think they can raise a lot of issues that could otherwise get swept into the carpet. When that stuff impedes the public functioning of society for other people, then I think there's a responsibility for law enforcement and other people to act and make sure that that is better managed. Mhmm. So shutting down an entire bridge is not only disruptive, it can be really dangerous. Of course. And it can hurt your cause because then people people dislike the cause because it hurt them. Right. Typically, what happens is you're supposed to file for a permit to protest. And when you get that, there are areas that are cordoned off and then people are allowed to express their views. That's a really healthy form of democracy. Going rogue like this will only blow up in people's faces because the folks that are somewhat sympathetic will eventually get burned by this experience and turn against them. So that's one set of issues. I think that's just people

Content, dining about town on the 1st night to blow out parties, it's gonna be awesome. So we're really excited about it. We've got a much bigger budget this year. And we're gonna try and really make the, the experience awesome while also delivering the great content. So really excited to do this again in LA. I appreciate everyone's supported that. We had a lot of debate internally about where to take it. And we settled on going with what we know and trying to make it a little bit better this year. So anything else you guys wanna say about all in summit? And there's only one kind of ticket this year. Right? That's right. So we're not doing, like, regular ticket and VIP. We're just doing one ticket for everyone, and everyone's gonna get this kind of elevated experience. Should be cool. Sachs just show up would be awesome. Hope to see you there. I wanna invite a couple of speakers. Yeah. You've got some good speakers I saw. Yeah. It's gonna be great. When are we gonna start announcing the speakers? We will do that in a couple of weeks. We already have a bunch booked, and it's gonna be awesome. Oh, it's really exciting. That's awesome. Yeah. I know CP you wanted to take it somewhere else. I mean, we were in debate on Vegas maybe going to some other country But, you went to another country. Where'd you go this week? I was in Paris, France. What were you doing there? There's like a important AI conference and Jonathan Ross, the founder of Groc and I kicked it off with like a Fireside chat for, like, 45 minutes at the beginning just to get everybody amped up and excited. Cool. Yeah. It was really good. Anything interesting come out of it? I think the sound bite that made an impact on me was was was from Jonathan. So I think he did a very good job of explaining where Nvidia is really strong, which is really in learning. And where Nvidia is trying to build the business, which is an inference, but the problem is the features Almost compete with each other between learning and inference,

Freiburg leveled up year 2 of the conference. I'm I'm really excited to see how you put your stamp on it and level up year 3. Couple of housekeeping things here. You know, we are By the way, sorry. Can I say one thing just a little moment, like you said? Mafia. There is so much room to build real communities, and I think people are just so tired and bored with everything online. So I think offline experiences will be a huge value add in people's lives. Yeah. There's definitely a bridge from online to offline and that the all in meetups that Ray's been hosting. The best the best example example. Yeah. The best example of at scale of online to offline are dating apps. And all I can see is that's a pretty dissatisfying experience for a lot of people. And so outside of dating apps, there aren't many really great examples where like minded people can hang out and have fun and, you know, talk, learn, party. It's really interesting you bring this up. I just finished John, Hate's new book, The Anxious Generation. I don't know if you've listened to it, but there's a pair of books out right now. Bad Therapy and, this one about kids. And the premise of this book, Shemaf, is screen time, as you referred to, you know, people being online, not only is it bad for kids and adults, it's also blocking, to your point, real world connection. And so we all want a little more real world connection. And so, John, welcome to the team. Additionally, I'll just, 2 more housekeeping items here and then we'll get to the show. We're gonna have a 1,000,000 subscriber party. If you want to be part of that 1,000,000 subscriber party, you can increase your chances. Oh, the 3rd reich was on speed. There's, like, many, many stories about this, yes, axe? That they were hopped up on speed? I believe so. I'm not sure. Yeah. I believe so. Big, I think entire books have been written about Yeah. Drug use by the the 3rd Reich, but Yeah. I haven't delved into it. Yeah. No. No. I've I've I've listened to a couple of podcasts about it, in fact, and, so it must be true. I've listened to some podcast. Alright. Moving on in the, If it was on MSNBC, it must be true. I have or Fox Or Fox. Or if it was, Beep the Great, your anonymous friend on Twitter, it must be true. Alright. Trump just made $5,000,000,000 on paper with his meme SPAC. Trump's social network has finally de SPAC ed. It's now publicly traded. You can go buy Donald Trump's SPAC at djt is the ticker symbol. They are on pace for a whopping $4,500,000 in revenue on a $60,000,000 loss. They're growing like 3x year over year. And the company is not disclosing any user metrics. This quote from one of their recent filings is next. At this juncture in its development, TMTG, the Trump Media and Technology Group, believes that adhering to traditional KPIs such as sign ups, average revenue per user ad impressions and pricing or active user accounts including monthly and daily active users could potentially divert its focus from strategic evaluation with respect to the progress and growth of its business. So they're not tracking Isn't that the business? I I'm so relatable. Like, I could barely get through it. That's crazy. They said that? Literally, they said it. It's a quote, they're SEC filing. According to similar web estimates, truth social had about 5 bill 5,000,000 visits last month. As of Thursday morning, it's worth about 8,500,000,000, same as Reddit.

Put software on your phone, it has to go through the App Store. It has to be 30%. And that's really the anti competitive thing here. I think this will be settled. And if you look at the different issues here, I think this is gonna be actually a huge win for Apple. Because if Imessage were to exist on Android, they would get all of those users to download Imessage and they would have all those users. If they made the watch compatible, they would open up many more people to buy the watch and you would get more watches. I think that Apple's thinking way too short term about the lock in here and they should, you know, allow more of these apps, allow more watches and they should allow the gaming thing. I think that they're being petty. I don't think anything's gonna happen here because it's taken them 5 years to file. There's a, at least a 50% chance that the administration is gonna turn over, which means that this lawsuit changes or goes away entirely. And then even if it does kind of proceed, it's gonna take 10 years of very detailed arguments for something to happen. And frankly, probably in 10 years from now, we've already moved a different compute platform, and this is not gonna matter. I mean, there there is the coin toss of what the Trump administration would do here. For sure that's valid. But I think these things will all get settled. I think the settlement will be Imessage releases. They allow the so think about the Apple Watch. It's not just Saks that they're allowing it on Android. It's would you allow Android Watches to connect with the SDK directly into the iOS operating system, which they block you from doing. I think they should just have a little switch in your Freedberg settings that allows you to flip it and say I take responsibility for allowing 3rd party stores and I want to be able to load any software. It's your computer. I don't think the government should should regulate that. I don't think the government should be able to mandate that. I think they yeah. I mean, I I I like the fact that everyone is looking to the government to do things that they want as a consumer. Make your choice with your dollars. Make your vote with the product and service you wanna buy instead of running to the government and asking the government to come and do stuff.
